RUDOLPH LUNGILE ‘DOC’ MABECE

Lungile Mabece was born in SOWETO, Johannesburg, grew up in many places around South Africa. He practically experienced almost every environment possible in South Africa, from the largest township in South Africa, a rural village to a farm. He is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa who practiced various fields of law until he decided to settle on corporate and commercial law. He is a specialist in transport law, information, communication and technology (ICT) law, governance (statutory and corporate) as well as legislation drafting. He served as a student leader during his university days and as a professional, he served in committees of the attorneys’ profession in South Africa until 2002. He also serves in board of directors for private and public entities, including having been the chairperson of one of the major state-owned companies in South Africa. Besides being an author, he is also a trainer and speaker in transport and governance subjects. He holds BProc and LLB degrees from the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa. He has been exposed to different industries and environments as well as well travelled.
